SYNOPSIS ....

Elizabeth Honey's first picture storybook - after illustrating for others.

A delightfully illustrated and boisterous story will appeal to independently minded children everywhere.

Princess Beatrice loves to dress up - and she loves to wear lots of jewels. When a Rotten Robber kidnaps Beatrice and tries to steal the 'glittering goodies', he finds he has more than met his match. Princess Beatrice outsmarts the Rotten Robber and has him trussed up like a turkey before you can say 'ten tiaras'. As punishment for kidnapping Princess Beatrice, the robber is given an enormous tin of polish and is made cleaner and polisher of the royal treasures.

Elizabeth Honey's delightfully illustrated and boisterous story will appeal to independently minded children everywhere.

Princess Beatrice loves dressing up, and more than anything else she loves wearing jewels – lots of jewels. When a rotten robber kidnaps her and makes off with the glittering goodies, he soon finds he has trouble on his hands. She’s a feisty little princess who provided inspiration for ‘What do you think, Feezal?’

Reviews

Five Stars  …. It’s so refreshing to see a princess who loves dressing up and wearing sparkly jewels - but is also smart, brave and able to save herself! Princess Beatrice was a favourite of mine when I was growing up and it’s so special to be able to share the thrilling take with my little one

A family favourite  …  I missed reading this to my daughters, but I've really enjoyed it. Princess Beatrice is full of vim and vigour and she doesn't let the rotten robber who steals her jewels get away with it.

Glorious dress-ups ….  A jolly, romp of a book and a must for any aspiring young princess. Princess Beatrice loves dressing up - especially in her mother's jewels, but she's far from a pea-brain as she proves most ably when she's kidnapped for her 'glittering goodies'.

Marvellous Reading!
