Italian hand painted Decorative plate “Image of Petrarca” framed in a heavy gilded wooden frame.

(Francesco Petrarca; July 20, 1304 – July 18/19, 1374), was an Italian scholar and poet during the early Italian Renaissance who was one of the earliest humanists.)

The antique plate is framed in a wooden frame, accompanied with a wooden medallion, both Italian made.

The set is in perfect condition.

The plate size is 4 1/2” in diameter by 1 1/2” deep.

The frame is 9” in diameter.

It comes with the wooden medallion for decorative purposes and is 5 3/4” in diameter.
