Helmet net to fit the WWII US M1 helmet with the standard size square netting.

There are various types and colours of helmet net used in WW2 on the American M1 steel helmet.

This is one of the most wildly seen and used helmet nets. It has the standard sized square netting and it is held onto the shell by a lace cord running along the edge or the helmet net can be pushed between the shell and liner where it would be gripped in place.

This type of net is sometimes referred to the British type of net, but it is designed for the US M1 helmet.
