Lost your steering wheel nut? Here it is.
Hard to get; it is a special size: fine thread, metric, thin nut with washer.
Some of the early steering wheels have a small counterbore. This washer fits inside the counterbore to provide proper clamping of your steering wheel to the steering column. The pictures showing this nut and washer holding a steering wheel on are of a 56-59 semi-batwing wheel. The small pic of the wheel with coarse splines is a 55 and earlier batwing wheel. Some steering wheels don't have the counterbore. I have a 3 spoke Standard wheel from a 56 that is without the counter bore. In those cases, you can use the nut and washer in my other auction:
