This listing is for a Re-manufactured Early GM 6L80 Valve Body years 2006-2009, with Upper Casting of 9404 and Lower Casting of 9581, “D” CODE. These valve bodies are updated to address common issues, such as: burnt clutches; codes P0751, P0741, P0742; harsh TCC apply; bump, harsh or flare shifts; bind-ups; solenoid performance codes; and wrong gear starts.

A TEHCM is not included with the valve body, but is available from OEM and various aftermarket sources if required.

This valve body is better than OEM, it features upgrades to increase reliability over the standard OEM valve body.

These upgrades include: Oversized Actuator Feed Limit Valve Kit, O-Ringed End Plug Kit, other updates are applied on a case-by-case basis.

CAUTION: We have been members of the eBay community since 2000 and have been selling remanufactured valve bodies here since 2014 and would like to take a moment to caution our potential customers. In recent months there has been an influx of sellers on here and other e-commerce sites that are selling USED valve bodies as "Remanufactured" with "Lifetime Warranties" and "Updated." To the educated buyer these claims are obviously fraudulent as the prices are too low for them to be remanufactured, let alone updated with Sonnax parts kits. We are an authorized Sonnax distributor and can assure you that you cannot purchase a remanufactured valve body for $100.00-200.00, with Sonnax kits installed. Costs are just too high to make that realistic. Granted a used part may last you 100,000 miles depending on it's previous use, or it may last you a month, you just don't know. If you are willing to spend $200.00, why not $230.00 or $330.00 for a part that is guaranteed to work? You do not have to buy from us, but please be careful and do your homework before you make a purchase you might regret. Thank you.

*Note: This is a general rule to follow, but may not always be true. Sometimes no bosses are machined.

Look for machined-down boss (A, B, C or D) on the upper casting. Generally, if the A boss is machined down, this indicates an MYA/6L45 (see chart above). This identification system is not foolproof, as some valve bodies do not have any bosses machined down.

Warranty Information

World Wide Specialty Parts warrants to the owner that it will repair or replace, at World Wide Specialty Parts option, each valve body remanufactured, when that valve body(s) is found to be defective in material or in factory workmanship, under normal use and service. The Warranty period shall extend for twelve (12) months from the date of sale. Defective or malfunctioning valve body(s) must be returned to World Wide Specialty Parts. All returns must be approved by World Wide Specialty Parts and clearly display the assigned return authorization number (R.A.) on the packaging. Returns must be accompanied with the purchaser’s copy of the original invoice to validate the date of purchase.

The Warranty does not cover:
• Removal and replacement - Labor Costs
• Loss of time, inconvenience or other consequential damage
• Any World Wide Specialty Parts valve bodies that have been:
-Subject to misuse, negligence, alteration or accident
-Improperly installed in the judgment of World Wide Specialty Parts, so as to adversely effect its performance and reliability. This warranty is the only warranty applicable to valve body(s) remanufactured by World Wide Specialty Parts, and is expressly in lieu of any other warranties, expressed or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. There are no warranties which extend beyond the description on the face hereof. World Wide Specialty Parts does not authorize any person to create for it any other obligation or liability in connection with these valve body(s). World Wide Specialty Parts shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damage resulting from breach of Warranty.

Core Charge Instructions

BEFORE READING ALL OF THIS PLEASE BE AWARE WE DO NOT CHARGE A CORE ON ALL VALVE BODIES. If we do not charge a core deposit, we just ask you use the prepaid core label to return your core if you do not want it. That way the next person who needs one will be able to get one. Thank you.

When you receive your valve body there will be a plastic pouch on the top of the box. Inside this pouch is the packing slip and prepaid UPS Label for the core folded up together. Use this label and the box the new valve body comes in to ship your core back, just let the valve body drain and place it in a garbage bag before shipping please. Just stick the label on the box and drop it off at a UPS location and we will handle the rest.

You have 90 days to return the core before things become complicated. After 90 days eBay and most credit card companies close the transaction and we can no longer process any refunds. We will accept cores after 90 days you will just have to contact us to arrange another way to receive the refund, through PayPal or another EFT processor.

We have been short-staffed since Covid so core processing may take 4-6 weeks once your core is received. We are doing the best we can and we will get your core charge back to you, we just ask for your patience and understanding.
