DESCRIPTION

Alexandre Minguet (French, B. 1937). FLOWERS IN PAINTED VASE, artist signed and the artist’sproof , as identified by “E/A” (epreuve d’artiste)  in pencil at the lower left. Artist’s proofs are are not often available, and as deemed by Christies to be “rare and so are likely to hold more value” for collectors of limited edition prints. The original edition was a run of 100. 

The lithograph was originally purchased from the artist studio/gallery on St. Martin in the Caribbean. The lithograph print is professionally framed and double matted under glass. The wood frame approximately 15-3/4  inches high  x 13-1/4 wide, is green, harmonious with the art and “of the period”.  The frame does show some wear appropriate with age, and could use some tightening at the corners. The print is approximately 6 1/2 inches high x 4 inches wide. It is in excellent condition, and was professionally matted.  Please see the photos for detail.
