Moving the Goods is a 'general interest' booklet that describes how the railways in East Anglia became a central part of the economy, transporting everything from the humblest package to complete farms. It gives a flavour of the complexities of the operation, repeated the length and breadth of the country, providing a service that kept the local and national economy functioning for over a hundred years.
