19TH CENTURY PAPIER-MACHE INKWELL BY JENNENS & BETTRIDGE

We have for sale a beautiful 19th Century (approx 1850) Papier Inkwell by Jennens & Bettridge. The recessed shaped base stands on four large circular bun feet. It is typically decorated through-out with inlaid mother of pearl and gilt highlights. The underside is stamped with 'Jennens & Bettridge / Makers To The Queen'.

Dimensions: 31cm Wide, 18cm Deep

A very good quality inkwell presented in good antique condition. The inkwell is slightly warped and has signs of wear commensurate with age. We try to describe each item as accurately as we can - the pictures form part of the description and will give you a good idea of colour and condition.
