For auction is an antique original double page map of Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island from 1884. This map was taken from an atlas that was beyond repair. The image size is approximately 15 1/2" by 25" and the colors are as vibrant as the day it was printed.It would be impressive if it were matted and framed. There is a minor tear at the bottom where the map folds but this does not affect the aesthetics of the piece. The map shows town locations, natural features, county borders and railroads that existed when the map was published. It also has a more detailed map of Boston in an inset.
