Nickel/Copper alloy which is highly resistant to corrosion and acids.
Used to seize shackles for anchor rodes as it will not corrode by seawater.
Lock wire for high temperature / corrosion resisting applications.
Retains its strength at very high temperatures.
Used to join to Monel 400, R404, K-500 and itself 60
Malleable enough to be hand twisted as in the photo, but incredibly tough and resistant to corrosion.
