The curved ends are segmented to be sized to fit watches with 16mm to 19mm lug spread which is the correct size for most vintage Bulovas and Accutrons and many other 1960-1970's vintage watches. This is NOT a spring loaded self-sizing type band. Check your watch's lug width before buying. (I suggest having your jeweler or watch repair person fit this to your watch.)
