"Throughout the late 1990s and the great percentage of the following decade, Tiger Woods was not only at the top of the golf world, he was arguably the greatest and most famous athlete on the planet. His body, particularly his back, didn’t cooperate heading into the 2010s as he eventually fell to No. 1,199 in the World Golf Rankings at the end of 2017.
