The NETGARD or NX Series is a RJ45 plug in data protection platform used to protect computers, or peripheral equipment associated with popular data protocols such as DSL, POE, ISDN, 10/100BASET, and E1/T1 from electrical and surge protection.

Manufacturer Description:

The NX4-60 series is designed for STP (Shielded Twisted Pair) applications. This device protects in both differential and common line-to-line and line-to-ground modes. Each of the eight lines is protected with a three stage suppression circuit. The surge current rating of this device is 300A, 10/1000µs per Bellcore 1089 and 3kA, 8x20µs per IEC 61000-4-5. This device is useful in protecting 10/100BaseT, ISDN, DSL, E1/T1, ADSL, POE, and DDS applications. External grounding is required for optimum performance.
