I'm selling this as I found it.  ON 3 PIECES OF PAPER (ONE A PRESCRIPTION PIECE OF PAPER), AN INDIVIDUAL HAS COLLECTED SIGNATURES OF PHIL RIZZUTO, TOMMY HENRICH, ALLIE REYNOLDS, AND GENE WOODLING.

These pieces of paper were stored within a mylar dust jacket for the book, "The World Series".  This book was published in 1996.  The individual who collected the signatures noted the years that the players played for the Yankees in pencil on the pieces of paper.  I don't have any history behind this individual's collection.  None of the autographs were authenticated, but they are fully consistent with similar ones found online.

Also includes the signature of Joe Och of the Newark Bears.  He was indeed on the roster of this team in 1948 (if not otherwise) - this can be found online.

Based on this clue, and also that three of the Yankee signatures included writing out the years '47, '48, and '48 (the Tom Henrich and Joe Och signatures did not have dates), I'm guessing that the original owner collected the signatures in 1948 and kept them in this location for safe-keeping.

The book was originally published in 1993; this version was published in 1996.  It is titled, The World Series A History of Baseball's Fall Classic by Ron Fimrite.  Published by Sports Illustrated, the book is in NEAR FINE CONDITION, with no wear to dust jacket, boards and book.

The papers with the signatures are floating below the dust jacket - they are not taped or glued to the dust jacket.  I can remove them from their comfortable safe position, but this wouldn't result in any savings (shipping is $5), and I would suggest they may be more safely conveyed within the mylar jacket of the book.  I would ship this book comfortably in a book-sized box.
