The Church Mouse Hiding in Cheese depicts a small mouse who has discovered an unusually large piece of cheese and cleverly hollowed out a refuge inside it. The figure captures a moment of quiet humour and ingenuity, reflecting the playful storytelling often found in traditional church carving and decoration.
The original design was hand carved exclusively for Oakapple Designs by a master carver. From this original carving, a mould was taken, allowing each reproduction to retain the texture, depth, and character of the hand-carved original.
