This is my custom butterfly bush mix. All colors are mixed together in one pack. Long spikes of tiny flowers bloom from midsummer through the first frost. The flowers are very fragrant and attract butterflies, bees and hummingbirds.  The branches are long and arching, making a very informal, casual shrub.

Plant 5-6 seeds together to get a mixed color butterfly bush as in the photo. It grows very fast. The blossoms make excellent cut flowers for arrangements. YOU GET 150 SEEDS!

 It grows extremely large. It works well in mass plantings in a bed or as a border plant.

Planting and Care

For the best blooms, plant the butterfly bush's in full sun in well-drained soil. This plant is very easy to grow. In fact, some areas may stimulate the production of volunteer seedlings.

To produce more blossoms, deadhead the bush as each spike fades. In late winter or early spring, prune back the branches to almost ground level if you wish to control the height and width of the plant. 

Generally these butterfly shrubs are deer and pest resistant.
