This collection of HO Scale kits is designed for simple snap-together assembly with a minimum of gluing. The finished models are perfect for layouts, dioramas or Christmas Villages. Major parts snap together and you just glue on smaller details for the finishing touch. Main walls and trim are molded as one assembly, but in two different colors, so you can use your new model right of the box. Windows feature true-to-scale mullions and frames molded in color over clear glazing for more realism. Decals and interior detail sheets are included as appropriate, along with complete instructions. Packed with details, you'll be proud to display the finished buildings in any setting. Perfect for a weekend getaway or as a summer home, Lake Forest Cottage is a wonderful little building you can use on any layout in any era. Typical of vacation retreats found everywhere, you'll find wooden structures like this in remote areas or in resort communities. It's also typical of the small cottage-style homes found in some big city neighborhoods. And you'll find small homes like these in company towns serving factories, mines or other industries. To help set a relaxing, realistic scene, Lake Forest Cottage comes with additional details including a trellis, table, umbrella, hedgerows, window boxes, chairs, printed interior scenes and an interior light.
