This heatguard is a fire rated downlight hood for recessed downlights. The downlight cover can be easily installed, from below or above the ceiling. The heatguard is certified to British Standards for all types of ceiling. This product carries an IP20 rating, which means it is protected against solid objects. It has no protection against water and should only be installed in dry premises.
