At last Compostable/Biodegradable Tin tie bags. The bags are lined with PLA which is a plant based starch lining (including the window) which can be heat sealed and the paper is from a sustainable forest.

 

This is a new batch, the bags have changed slightly the I AM ECO design has changed and the gusset is plain like the rest of the bag except for the bottom where the compostable design is (shown in the images). Really sorry guys but the price has also gone up due to a shortage of paper worldwide and transport costs. Hopefully this will change as things settle down across the world, as soon as I can get a better price the price will come down again

 

The bags are suitable for packaging coffee, leaf tea, granola, cereal, chocolate, nuts, cookies and dried fruit etc versatile and durable and the integrated Tin Tie is handy for resealing which helps to lock in flavour.

The Tin Tie is a small/narrow metal strip that is covered with paper and runs across the top of bag but is just a little wider, this enables you to roll down the bag to whatever size then seal/secure the top by bending the tin ties either side
