You have to replace the brush holder and spring if your makita is still making lot of sparks at speed 5 after replacing the Armature and brushes. The spring probably gor overheated and lost his force to hold the brush in contact with the rotor of the armature.

How to replace brush:

Use a small flat screwdriver, knife blade
Remove screws from the rear cover. 
Pull spring back, remove brush
use small flat screwdriver to pop off clips
insert new brush.

rear cover back. tight screws
