It is a weekly SEVEN TRACK  CD show (SILVER BACKED FOR HIGHEST FIDELITY) in in immaculate  condition looking like it was never played before and in fact it was probably played the day it aired and that's it.

Five of the seven tracks contained a mini daily show ranging from 5-8 minutes and containing an interview, a classic song relating to the interview, and a brief commercial.  The sixth track was a promo for the show AND THE SEVENTH contained one of the five day's songs 'in the clear' meaning that there is no talking, only the music.  This was a gift for stations to add to their music libraries.

 It comes with its cue sheet which is in good condition.  

 Now, as to the show itself. Each show is hosted by blues expert Dan Akroyd, a charter member of the (in)famous Blues Brothers.  He will lead you through the best blues and rock music of all time.  The show featured the kinds of blues that the Blues Brothers excelled in - blues with a rock touch although you will hear plenty of traditional blues as well.  It is an exciting daily adventure!

        It is an hour of high energy blues and rock and you will love it.   You will learn a lot about music through this great show and the mix of music is terrific. You just cannot find these shows anymore.     

  The show aired weekly on the CBS RADIO NETWORK and later the WESTWOOD ONE RADIO NETWORK. 

 The cue sheet comes with the show and sometimes with notes from the board op who played the show made as the show progressed through its week.  

    The CD the show comes on is beautifully decorated with  graphic art of the show logo across the top as you can see in the listing.  It is one of the most beautiful radio shows that you will see.  It features music from the top blues and rock artists of all time in an entertaining and fascinating format always with a special theme or featured artist.

       Remember, this is the original show sent for airing.  It is NOT an unauthorized copy but the Real McCoy!!!   I personally guarantee that every radio show that I sell is the original show sent to stations.  Each show comes from my personal collection of over ten  thousand radio shows of every genre.   Stations could use the show anytime during that weekend and then any remaining ended  up available to us all to enjoy. I saw 'any remaining' because many or most stations just tossed them after airing because they were dated by the commercial content and could not be played after the week air date.  

SO there may be just a few of any given show left.  Certainly, there are not many.
