Product Overview – SafeTCap® ART-041
The ART-041 is designed for Jeep CJ-5 and CJ-7 models suffering from heavy rust near the rear leaf spring shackle mounts.

A common issue with CJs is rust-through at the rear frame caused by trapped moisture and debris inside the frame rail. This happens due to the rubber body mount above the rear frame which retains water, sand, and mud — eventually weakening the structure and making the vehicle unsafe to drive or pass inspection.

This SafeTCap® kit offers a smart, time-saving fix that caps the rusted area and restores strength to your CJ's frame. Installation is very similar to our ART-042.

This kit includes:

• (1) Driver side rear frame repair section

• Precision CNC-cut from 11-gauge cold rolled steel

• Designed for weld-on installation

• ART-041 installation instructions included

🔧 Note: New shackle mount bushings are recommended and not included.

Installation Notes:
This kit was engineered with the DIY installer in mind.
To install:

1. Remove rusted portions of the frame at the spring shackle area.

2. Fit the ART-041 frame caps in place.

3. Weld securely to restore frame integrity.

4. Reinstall suspension components and replace bushings if necessary.
