Illustrated in full colour throughout, double-page spread: Evening Shadows over Painted Desert, Coober, & map at inside rear cover with the FOUR POST CARDS ATTACHED. A picture of a beautiful opal on the first page where the author has signed and dated this copy in 1992. Four postcards attached to the rear cover. Soft covers lightly worn upper edge and upper front corner. Picture of a heavy digging machinery on front cover.

Illustrated stapled light card wrapper. FOUR detachable postcards attached to back cover now. Colour photographs & four postcards to rfep. There's a lot of opal mining information in this now extremely rare A4-size book. It includes many high quality photographic examples of finished work and covers the centres of Coober Pedy and White Cliffs.
