This is an antique black and white Art Nouveau postcard of Trondheim/ Trondhjem, Sør-Trøndelag, Norway. It shows 7 beautiful views of (clockwise):1. Munkholmen (= the monk's islet) 2. Queen Maud Charlotte Mary Victoria of Wales (1869-1938) 3. King Haakon VII (1872-1957) 4. The Nidaros Cathedral where the Coronation took place 5. Trondhjem 6. Stiftsgården, the royal residence 7. A Ship, probably a Navy Ship of the Eidsvold class. This postcard was published by Janssen & Co. on the occasion of the Coronation on 22 June 1906. So it is more than one HUNDRED and 15 years OLD. This postcard was sent to Prague in 1906. The red and white10 Ore stamp is still attached on its back. Cancel: TRONDHJEM. However a crease on top left corner and a bit dirty they do not affect the pictures (see scan) and it is still a great collectable. Condition: good.
