This item was acquired at a lost freight auction recently, and we do not know much else about them.  The huge box simply had "Hood Rod Clips" written with a magic marker.  We repackaged them in heavy Ziplok bags for resale.  Now you won't have to listen to that hood support rod bouncing around under your hood any more.  These are made from a very strong and tough material, so I'm sure they have other uses as well.
