An article published in the June 2016 issue of the Journal of Leukocyte Biology states what zapper enthusiasts have known for years - that the application of a finely-tuned electrical field to a body promotes healing.

  BZapr zappers operate from a single 9-volt battery (INCLUDED) for ease of use any time, anywhere. Ours put out a 24-Hz square-wave signal.  (You can see an example of the output wave form, taken from our oscilloscope, in the photos.) What matters is the square wave & the frequency of the output signal, not whether the terminals touch skin, as long as they are very close to it.

  BZapr zappers are very small, measuring only 2.25" X 1.75" X 3/4", so they fit almost anywhere.  If you can wrap an elastic bandage over one, so the terminals gently but firmly contact you or your fur person's fur or hair, you turn it on and that's all you do.  An hour a week is plenty.  One customer has said she put her dog's unit inside a piece of nylon stocking & tied it snugly around the dog & it works fine - they're both happy!

  Chakli, the company grand poobah, has had no worms since we first began using his unit on him in 2007.  His human asked his vet last year if we should consider giving him any chemical dewormers, and the vet said, "No need! Any dog that shines like he does & has a few extra pounds, has no worms. Whatever you're doing, it works." There you have it, almost from the horse's mouth. The horse-vet's mouth, anyway.

  Terminals often discolor due to the heat of soldering the wires to them, as well as during use.  This really doesn't matter because so long as your BZapr's LED flashes, it's working.  Terminals are easily cleaned with a bit of metal polish & a cotton swab, if discoloration from use annoys you.  If discoloration occurs when you use a BZapr, it indicates 'something healing' is occurring with use.  Discoloration from the heat of soldering is essentially impossible to remove; it is due to local changes in the alloy of the pennies which have no effect on the effectiveness of Indian Maid's zappers.  Do not wire brush, sand or use abrasive cleaners on the terminals; this voids the warrantee.
