Designed to start and run a 2.5HP motor or CNC/Resistive/Inductive loads up to 7 amps at 208-240 volts.


The Smart-Boost™ is a new breed of Digital Rotary Phase Converters. Our Smart-Boost technology aids in the startup of motors external of the phase converter downstream. The Smart-Boost Controller uses solid state switching to re-engage the start capacitors at zero degree crossing. Which in turn, surges 600% more current to the motors during their startup.

*For light & medium motor loads: Choose the converter that is 1.5 times larger then your motor load.

*For hard & very hard motor loads: Choose the converter that is double the size of your horsepower.

Sizing note: The Smart-Boost™ Rotary Phase Converter will start motors of equal size; however, we recommend over-sizing the phase converter for hard and very hard loads to maintain better voltage balance.
