What is it? - A set of items, two are a combination of brand new plastic cases and rubber buttons that will allow you to refurbish two remotes which have been scuffed or damaged over the years. This is the economical solution to repairing a remote that is physically damaged but otherwise functional. The other are two uncut car transponder key blades.
IMPORTANT NOTE: There are no electronics inside the replacement shell! You are purchasing a replacement case and buttons ONLY!
Note for the Key: This type of key requires you to have TWO existing keys that start the vehicle in order to program this key yourself. If you currently only have one key (or zero), you will not be able to program these keys – they will need to be programmed by a dealer or a qualified locksmith. Many dealerships do it for free as a courtesy. If your dealer does charge a fee, keep in mind locksmiths usually charge much less to stay competitive. This is why it’s a good idea to have three keys that start the vehicle at all times.
