DESCRIPTION:        Please note that certain Singer Treadle sewing machine Bobbin

Winders were designed for the older (longer) bobbins. These

 longer bobbins are no longer manufactured. The dimension

difference is as follows:

Old (longer):        1-1/2” (38 mm) LENGTH x 3/8” (10 mm) WIDTH

New (shorter):     1-5/16” (33 mm)  x 3/8” (10 mm)

*These New, Shorter Bobbins are the bobbins in this listing*

These new (shorter) bobbins work in the machines themselves,

but require slight modification to the Bobbin Winder friction ends. Please note that many of our customers simply insert small

1/4” (6 mm) round leather disks in one end of the bobbin winder to allow these new (shorter) bobbins to wind effectively.
