6 Volt Universal Replacement
Headlight Switch

This is a brand spanking new Universal Replacement Headlight Switch.  Has a 5.5 Ohm Rheostat to dim your dash lights.  It mounts in a 3/8" diameter hole.   This switch can be used for just about any vehicle that you are unable to find a factory replacement headlight switch for.   Perfect for a hot rod, rat rod or custom.   The shaft is not removable from this switch.  The knob IS removable with a GOOD quality 1/16" Allen wrench (Harbor Freight quality won't work).  Switch is marked 6 volt but will work equally well on a 12 volt vehicle.  Your original headlight knob must have 8-32 internal threads (or be modified) to work with this switch.  This switch does NOT control the interior lights.

Originally these switches were marked  6 volt with 30 amp breakers and 12 volt with 20 amp breakers.  Now both the 6 Volt and 12 Volt switches come with 20 amp breakers.  Both switches are now identical except for the marking.  They share all of the the exact same parts.
