The photos on this post card were taken in the late 40's.  It shows a gushing oil well, the Alamo, a field of blue bonnets and a few other scenes from Texas.  The old Pyote Drug Store closed down in the late 50's and sat closed down until my dad bought it in the early 70's.  Thiss was one of the items that the store sold.  When the Air Base left, so did most of the people.
