Metaphysically Tourmaline balances the two different kinds of heart energy; one being, the focus of love and appreciation inward to the self, and the other being, the sending of loving, healing energy out into the world. Tourmaline is a great balancing stone for people who focus on always giving to others and neglecting their own needs.
