Complete Works of William Hogarth, 150 engravings, essay by James Hannay, Published by Griffin, undated. Lovely large volume with many illustrations. It looks to me like the book has been rebacked and the spine cloth then affixed over the new backing - which explains the pale edging. The edges of the boards are very worn, especially the corner. Also some staining. The interior is tight and generally clean (some spotting). Despite flaws, a nice volume and great introduction to Hogarth.
