Beautiful hand-painted porcelain trinket or jewelry box by Real D’Arte of Portugal, decorated in a wonderfully feminine palette of soft blush pink and white with cobalt-blue floral motifs and hand-painted gold accents.

The rectangular box has gently rounded corners and an ornate antiqued brass-tone metal mount with rope-style detailing, hinged lid and decorative clasp. The repeating floral and ribbon-like decoration continues around the sides, making this especially pretty from every angle.

The underside bears the green Real D’Arte Portugal / Porcelana Manufactura 1993 factory crest, crown motif, “Original,” and “hand painted.” Real D’Arte was established in Ílhavo, Portugal in 1993 and is known for hand-painted decorative porcelain.

Condition:

Very good pre-owned/vintage condition overall with attractive, vibrant decoration. There is a fine hairline/crack visible on the white porcelain surface inside the top lid, shown clearly in the photographs. It does not appear to detract significantly from the exterior presentation. Some age-related patina/darkening and surface wear are present on the metal mounting, along with minor signs of handling/use consistent with age. Please review all photos closely for condition.
