Here we have an authentic antique ribbon-embellished Christmas greeting card featuring a darling ruddy-cheeked boy dressed in white spats and red clothing rolling up a very big ball of snow for the making of a snowman. Interior greeting is a rif on the song of sixpence children's rhyme. Gold edge; blue card stock and paper. No envelope, just the card. Very clean and fresh, with nothing sticky or otherwise gross, and no funky odors. Back/fourth page shows damage to surface only of cardstock and old paste stains which don't affect the front or interior pages. Signed in ink on the interior. Overall very light surface wear, signs of aging, and imperfections, as shown in the photos.
Vintage: circa Victorian/Edwardian era, late 19th to early 20th centuries
Approximate measurements: please see photos with rulers
We run a year-round holiday store, to which we add new inventory daily, and we're always happy to combine shipping at actual cost. When purchasing multiple items, please choose "ADD TO CART" instead of "buy now" and check-out from the cart when you are completely done shopping with us. If the eBay checkout fails to properly combine your orders or, as it is very apt to do, overcharges you for combined shipping, we will issue a refund for the difference between what you paid for shipping, and the actual cost of the shipping, on the day that we ship your package. (We don't find out the actual cost of combined shipping until we purchase the shipping label.)
We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report. Corndogcache is a 100% non-smoking environment, and we'll let you know if any of our vintage items smell like it (or anything else) from activities they may have been involved in before they came to us.
The Fine Print:
- We expect payment within 1 day of purchase. If you're waiting for other auctions to end so that you can combine shipping, shoot us a message to let us know.
- If you're unable to pay within terms, please reach out with your Plan B. Things happen. Especially these days. So just shoot us a message.
- We don't accept buyer-remorse returns but we will grant you the use of our description and photos so that you can re-ebay the item yourself.
- Although we don't accept buyer-remorse returns, reach out if you're unhappy with your purchase! If we messed up -- everybody does -- give us a chance to fix it. We promise it was unintentional, and we'll do what we can to make it right.
