Antique stacked leather washer walking case dating to the 1890s most likely.  It also was most likely manufactured in the US or in Great Britain.  This gentleman's dress cane or military swagger stick measures 34" with a total weight of 8.9 ounces.  Thickest point of the hander measures 27mm in diameter.  The tip measures 8mm.  The cane is in solid and structurally sound.  The compressed leather shaft remains very straight with a minor, natural historic bend near the base.  The main body of the shaft is very smooth, only a few cosmetic surface nicks/flea bites measuring approximately 1/16" or smaller.  Towards the tip, there is a stable, period-correct historical leather sleeve reinforcement.  The final leather washer immediately adjacent to the brass ferrule is currently loose and exhibits typical age-related drying and splitting as pictured.  The cap is copper and the ferrule is brass.  Please refer to pictures for additional condition details.  Let me know if you have any questions.
