Fun Facts: Voigt's Store and Resort was located on Route 1 in Deer River, Minnesota, positioned on the Narrows between Deer and Moose Lakes. Owned by Charlie and Elsie Voigt and managed by Felix and Ethel Ikola, the resort served as a comprehensive stop for travelers offering groceries, beer, soft drinks, and fishing supplies like bait and tackle. The property featured eight modern cabins equipped with Simmons mattresses and offered amenities such as boat rentals and water skis. The front of the card features a prominent Grain Belt Beer sign, a classic Midwestern brand.
