Feedback from an enthusiastic customer:

DNM cable test
First of all, I listened with a standard 6mm2 cable on a fully drilled Compound 5 (new bass surrounds, damage caused by aging
in the switch with mouth village parts removed, OCOS internal cabling, which is from a Chord SMP
1000 was fired).
A test CD from Kinkeling was listened to.
The first thing I heard was a 6 mm² cable made of flexible strands, like the cables from the hardware store.
I used that as a reference point.
I've never been satisfied with doorbell wire, but the DNM RCA cable made a very good impression
leave behind.
So go to the pits and swap. The result was extremely surprising.
There is a lot more color in the music.
The normal cable just sounds musty. There is a lack of shine in the treble range and therefore also the bass depth.
All instruments are projected flat into the room. The DNM puts a real 3D stage in the room. All instruments
are shown with the sharpness of a slide. This goes down into the bass range. The DNM bass is essential
slimmer and not as bulky. It's blacker and not as softened. The compound bass is essential
more accurate than a bass reflex bass. Such differences are immediately noticeable there. I know what it's like with bass reflex speakers
not. But the difference could be even larger.
The difference is significant. With 6mm² cable you get the impression that the bass isn't coming through at the same time
woofers arrive, but like a Gaussian distribution. That's what I mean by smeared. The DNM cable comes
the bass as a single, short and crisp impulse.
Something similar happens when taking photos. Each frequency of light has a slightly different refraction property. For this reason
Expensive lenses are apochromatically equalized to blue, green and red. If you don't do that, the pictures will
dull, almost as if overexposed, somehow out of focus. Slide photographers know what I mean. This doesn't happen with paper pictures.
I noticed exactly the same effect between the two cables.
The DNM gives the female voices a real body with volume. The 6mm² cable only shows them flat.
There is also a lack of air in between.
Conclusion: No more fear of thin cables. It also fits better under the carpet than my 3 cm thick cable,
which I use now.
P.S
This result prompted me to investigate further.
There are various English-language videos on YouTube that demonstrate the cable effects using an oscilloscope.
Their conclusion is that the thickness of the cable is hardly important, but rather the shape.
PPS
I have to try the Kimber cable.

If your speakers have separate connections for bass and treble, we recommend using them for bi-wiring with 2 separate speaker cables each. This means you achieve a significant improvement in playback quality.
