Up for auction is an unusual early STITT spark plug featuring a white porcelain insulator with the distinctive STITT logo printed on the front.

This is a neat early design with a large heavy metal body, screw type terminal cap and an unusual dual ground electrode configuration at the firing end. The terminal cap is also stamped BURGESS on top, adding another interesting marking to the piece.

The plug appears complete and displays very well for its age. It shows surface rust, oxidation, discoloration, grime and general age related wear throughout. The porcelain has staining and wear but the STITT graphics remain bold and easily readable. Threads and electrodes appear intact as shown.

I have not positively identified the exact year or vehicle application, so it is being sold as an antique automotive collectible rather than for functional use. Untested.

A great display piece for a collection of early spark plugs, ignition equipment, automotive tools or garage memorabilia.

Found in recent barns, storage units, estates, and anywhere rusty gold hides. Please see all of the photos for condition and measurements. I will combine shipping on multiple orders, so be sure to check out my other items. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you.
