Please notice this is just a quilt TOP: it is NOT a finished quilt, as there is no batting or backing under the pieced fabrics seen in the photos.
The makers seem to have gotten fabrics with as diverse themes and possible when making this "kitchen sink soup" quilt top: please check the pics to better understand the eclecticism of this not only interesting, but also visually beautiful piece.
It measures 84" by 66" across; the bed is a queen, 80" by 60". The piecing as done by machine.
There are in total 18 large swatches sewn together by machine. There are only 10 different fabrics, as some of them were used in more than one "block".
