National Panasonic RC-707 "Panapet" Flip Clock AM/FM Radio, Vintage 1970s, Japan

This is the National Panasonic RC-707, a flip-clock (Panapet-style) AM/FM radio manufactured by National (now Panasonic) / Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. in the 1970s. It's a classic piece of Showa-retro / Space Age design, highly popular among collectors today.

Key Features:
- Flip Clock (Panapet-style): rotating numbered panels display the time — a mechanism that was hugely popular at the time.
- Auto Calendar: the date and day of the week (e.g. "MON 20") flip automatically in sync with the clock.
- Magic Touch: a light touch on the metal bar on top of the unit temporarily silences the alarm — an early electronic snooze function.
- Radio: FM and AM 2-band radio, IC 12-transistor.
- Power: AC only (100V, 60Hz, 10W) — this unit does NOT run on batteries, AC power required.

Condition: The radio and clock functions are both working. The alarm function has not been tested, as the seller was unable to confirm how to set it. This item is over 50 years old; while it appears to be in good condition, please check the photos carefully to judge condition for yourself.
