1918 production year Illinois Bunn Special Railroad grade pocket watch. Rare 23 jewel model 11 48 hour RY.R. Motor barrel with gold setting. Lever set 16s movement set in a Keystone J Boss 10k gold filled case. The case is inscribed as being cased and timed by Elgin Watch Co.. The case has an ornate bezel and edges on case back as well, with a heavy bow. There is minimal scratches on case back due to age and use. The dial, hands and crystal are all in very good aesthetic condition.

The watch runs strong, winds smooth and time set function works properly. The watch keeps good time against an electric clock. It has not been checked for full wind duration or timekeeping precision. The timepiece is from an estate and the service history is unknown, as well as the possibility of being re-cased. See pictures for condition details.
