Please notice this is just a quilt TOP: it is NOT a finished quilt, as there is no backing or batting under the pieced fabrics seen in the photos.

It measures 82" by 69" across; the bed is a queen, 80" by 60".

The pieced diamonds are made of feed sack scraps and other old cottons; those diamonds were pieced using as "support" a blue cotton that is visible when you turn the quilt top around, as in pic # 18. 

As  you may notice in the same photo 18, the plaid cottons do NOT have a "support" fabric. 

The pattern is also known as Zig Zag.

The only flaw found is the small hole in the lower right quadrant seen in pic # 19.
