Ramie is a natural plant-based textile fiber prized for its strength, breathability, crisp hand, subtle luster, and linen-like texture. Its natural characteristics make it particularly attractive for lightweight warm-weather garments and fine decorative textiles.
Gentle hand washing or machine washing on a delicate cycle with cool water is recommended. Hang or lay flat to dry. Iron carefully at an appropriate temperature when needed. Prewashing is recommended before sewing if shrinkage could affect the finished project.
Natural ramie may contain occasional slubs, variations in yarn thickness, and subtle irregularities in the weave. These are normal characteristics of natural woven fibers and add to the fabric's organic appearance.
Because this is a subtle white-on-white embroidered design, the embroidery may appear more or less pronounced depending on lighting and viewing angle. The ground may also appear pure white, off-white, or slightly ivory depending on lighting and individual screen settings.
