Original 1939 Dodge 3 Ton Diesel Trucks sales brochure featuring Dodge’s early heavy duty six cylinder four cycle diesel truck line.

This is a fantastic prewar Dodge commercial truck piece with colorful illustrations, cutaway mechanical artwork and extensive factory specifications. It covers the TKD Series 3 Ton and TKDA Series Dual Purpose 3 Ton models, along with different wheelbases and chassis configurations.

The brochure discusses Dodge diesel power, fuel economy, engine construction, transmission, rear axle, brakes, chassis and other heavy duty features. It also contains great period advertising for Dodge’s new truck plant and photographs showing the trucks undergoing real world service testing.

The back is marked Form T 8 50M 2 39, indicating a February 1939 printing.
