This listing is for a charming set of two vintage mid-century ceramic red devil pixie figurines, imported from Japan during the 1950s. The larger kneeling figurine features its original silver and red foil "Made in Japan" sticker on the bottom of its foot.

Both figurines feature glossy red glaze, mischievous hand-painted faces, pointed ears, and blonde/yellow tufts of hair. The larger kneeling devil features shiny gold-colored horns, while the smaller devil features matching red horns.

The larger kneeling devil comes with its original metal wire pitchfork. Please note that the smaller sitting devil is missing its original wire accessory, though its hand is molded to hold one if you wish to create a replacement.

Condition:

Good vintage condition overall with vibrant colors and great gloss. There are some areas where the red cold-paint finish is wearing off, as can be seen in the photos. There are no major chips, cracks, or repairs visible. Please look closely at all photos to confirm the condition and paint wear for yourself before purchasing.
