Large mixed group of 73 British Army and related military badges and insignia, covering a broad selection of regiments, corps and periods.

The lot includes cap badges, smaller beret/collar badges, collar dogs, shoulder insignia and other regimental devices. Notable examples represented include Lincolnshire Regiment, East Yorkshire Regiment, Essex Regiment, Royal Artillery/Royal Horse Artillery, Royal Engineers, Yeomanry and cavalry units, together with various flaming grenade, thistle, lion, castle, crown and regimental devices.

There is a good mixture of constructions including brass/gilding metal, white metal, bi-metal and anodised aluminium. Several pieces retain sliders or lugs, while others have different fittings or show missing/damaged fittings.

This is an unsorted collector/dealer accumulation. It contains a mixture of periods and should be regarded as including original period insignia, later issues and possible restrikes/reproductions rather than every item being individually guaranteed.

Condition is mixed throughout, ranging from very good to worn or incomplete. There is age-related toning, surface wear, oxidation and occasional damaged or missing fittings. Please study both the obverse and reverse photographs carefully, as these show the exact construction and condition of every piece.
