1940s St Joseph Missouri Junior College Cross Country Track Brass Medals 3 Pcs. These impressive brass sports medals are identical to the medals made in the 1920s for St. Joseph Junior College by Pollock and Creviston Jewelry Manufacturing Company. But these medals don't have the Pollock & Creviston hallmark on the back. The Pollock Creviston partnership dissolved around 1929–1930. Research revealed that after the split Jeff Creviston continued manufacturing local school and college medals into the 1930s and 1940s. He used the same designs, but left the Pollock and Creviston hallmark off the back.
These historical oval medals feature a relief figure of a male track or cross-country runner in mid-stride and the text, "JUNIOR COLLEGE, ST. JOSEPH MO." The medals measure 21.5mm wide by 33.5mm long including the bail.
