This is a great example of a high quality, Gitzo G1198 Basalt (made from volcanic basalt fiber and aircraft aluminum) 4-section tripod. This is a fantastic, rugged yet very light weight and compact tripod perfect for travel and everyday use. It fits into many camera bags (only 16” top of neck to tip of feet) and offers a retractable/removable hook on its column bottom for added stability or holding your camera bag. It weighs only 2.4 lbs and is rated to hold a load capacity of 8.8 lbs+ It is Perfect for Film, Digital, Video and Motion Picture uses alike. This tripod accepts basically any tripod head making it great for photo and video uses alike.
This tripod comes exactly as shown, in wonderful cosmetic condition showing very light rubs from use and in Great working condition. This tripod has No problems; the legs lock down properly, No cracks, with good leg movement and spread tension. good working removable bottom bag spring hook.
