The DK-Optic IMPASTOLITE 50mm f/1.5 is a manual-focus standard prime lens designed for Leica M-mount cameras. Inspired by the distinctive rendering of the Dallmeyer Septac Anastigmat 50mm f/1.5, it recreates a classic optical character with modern manufacturing precision.
Rather than pursuing only clinical sharpness, this lens is designed to capture atmosphere, light, and emotion. At or near maximum aperture, it produces a soft glow around highlights, gentle blooming, and a smooth transition into creamy, expressive bokeh.
Sonnar-Type Optical Design
The lens features a 4-group, 7-element Sonnar-type optical design. At f/1.5, it creates a soft and atmospheric rendering with a distinctive vintage character. Stopping down gradually brings out more definition, allowing you to choose between a dreamy wide-open look and a more controlled image.
Uncoated Silver Version
This silver version uses an uncoated optical design. Compared with the amber-coated black version, it can produce more visible flare, halation, and a softer vintage contrast when shooting toward strong light.
